About
I write at the intersection of how organizations improve, how Leaders navigate change, and how technology is reshaping every aspect, across Education and Business. An ever-evolving personal opinion of thoughts in the spirit of iterative process and continuous improvement.
For more than two decades, I have worked alongside leaders in education, educational technology, government, nonprofit and business who are working hard to build organizations that embrace change while flying the 'plane' — not just organizations that perform. That distinction matters to me deeply, it is at the crux of the definition of outcomes and success.
My work draws on continuous improvement frameworks — Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodology, and continuous improvement science — and applies them to the complex, human-centered environments where most real change actually happens. I am particularly interested in what happens when improvement science meets organizational culture: why some systems transform, technology integrations stall, funding falls short, and what leaders can do about it.
In recent years, my focus has expanded to include the integration of AI and emerging technology into learning and work environments. I approach this not as a technologist, but as someone who has spent a career thinking about how people learn, applying learning with metrics and outcomes, how organizations change, and what it means to lead responsibly through uncertainty.
These essays are my attempt to think in public — to work through ideas that matter to the leaders I work with and to share what I am learning along the way.
I am based in the United States and work with organizations nationally.
